It is often said that “food insecurity threatens peace”. Accomplishment of our Moonshot program will enable us to generate crops that are highly adaptable to the environment and to swiftly distribute them around the world. We envision a world free of food risks, and a peaceful future for future generations.
We also believe that “full utilization of crop functions” will contribute not only to robustness in crops, but also to the achievement of a wide range of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as it can overcome environmental problems and respond to innovations in industrial technology.
